DBDB Scribe
Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 1, 2026
DBDB Scribe is provided by DBDB Digital Studios. This policy explains how the app handles information.
Local meeting processing
Meeting recording, transcription, and summary generation run locally on your device. DBDB Scribe does not operate a cloud meeting database and does not send your meeting audio or transcript text to a remote AI service for transcription or summarization.
Optional model downloads
You may choose to download enhanced transcription and summary models. These files may be delivered by Hugging Face or related content-delivery infrastructure. Ordinary network metadata—such as IP address, device and connection details, request timing, and the requested model file—may be transmitted to those providers as part of the download. Meeting audio and transcript text are not attached to model-download requests.
No account, advertising, analytics, or tracking
DBDB Scribe does not require an account and does not include advertising, third-party analytics, or cross-app tracking.
Sharing, export, and backup
When you direct DBDB Scribe to Share, Save, Export, or back up information, the selected data may leave the app through a destination you choose. Files saved outside the app are controlled by you and the destination provider. DBDB Scribe cannot remove copies held by other apps, people, external folders, backup destinations, or services.
Clear All Local Data
Clear All Local Data removes DBDB Scribe meetings, transcripts, summaries, retained recordings and imported audio stored by the app, downloaded optional models, internal app backups, and app settings from the current device. It does not delete files you previously saved or shared outside the app, including external backup copies.
